Attraction Proves DEADLY for Flies
The formula of sugars and sex attractant contained in VECTOTHOR Fly Bait has been scientifically tested to prove its effectiveness in attracting flies.
Flies are irresistibly drawn to the surface where they are knocked down.
VECTOTHOR granule fly bait for dry surfaces is blue in colour, following scientifically proven data indicating it to be the most effective colour for attracting flies.
VECTOTHOR Fly Bait was developed for fly control in a range of situations. It has been formulated as a Water Dispersible Granule (WDG) so that it may be used directly in the granule formulation as a fly bait, diluted with a small amount of water for making a paste, or diluted with a larger volume of water to allow it to be quickly sprayed on to walls and other surfaces on which flies alight.

VECTOTHOR Fly Bait CAN BE USED FOR:
- Adult house flies (Musca domestica)
- Lesser house flies (Fannia canicularis)
TREATMENT:
Scatter application: The bait should be scattered (do not put in piles) onto dry level surfaces (e.g. pathways, window ledges or in shallow dishes).
Bait Station application: Set up Stations by sprinkling into shallow tins, lids or similar containers and place where flies congregate. Position Stations out of reach of animals or livestock and away from feed troughs, storage or mixing areas.
Wet Bait: In many situations more flies can be attracted to moist bait. This can be achieved by sprinkling bait on moist hessian sacks (placed out of reach of all animals) or by lightly moistening bait with a light spray of water.
Paint-on application: To prepare a paste for painting, mix 50 g of VECTOTHOR with 37.5 mL of water. 15 minutes after mixing the paste can be applied with a brush to spots where flies rest (e.g. walls, joists, window ledges, stable fixtures).
Additionally it can be painted onto hessian bags or sheets of cardboard or fabric which are hung in areas frequented by flies.
After use the brush can be cleaned with warm water.
Re-baiting: Re-baiting may be necessary in 3-5 days depending on exposure, weather and fly population density.
Apply as a scatter bait, in bait stations or as a paint-on or spray-on application. Place out of reach of all livestock and pets, and away from feed.
